My name is Dr. Tiara Boysen. I have over 30 years experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, worked in both state and private psychiatric hospitals, and currently have my own private practice on Eagle Mountain Lake. I also teach psychology at the local college and write mental health columns for various publications.
A portion of my practice includes eco-therapy, which is essentially psychotherapy performed in the beauty of nature. I have found that many clients are eager to get outside, feel the sun, and take in a few wonderful breaths of fresh air while getting psychotherapy! Many have said that this lessened their muscle tension and increases their feelings of pleasure.
I also provide telepsychology services. I’ve found that some people prefer telepsychology. It is convenient, cost effective, and can easily be done with full confidentiality. Whether you want in-person, telepsychology, or even a mix of the two I can accommodate your needs!
